Deb and Geoff Lindemer have lived in Vermont since 1980 and in Stowe since 1985. Their two sons, Matt and Ben, were born and raised here and now have careers in Boston and New York City.

While Geoff traveled the world offering financial management consulting, Deb started and ran her own business, The Keyboard Kids and Stowe Learning Center, an education center for pre-school through high school students. Deb had a partner and five teachers working with her to provide tutoring and supplemental education in all subject areas, including pre-school activities, reading comprehension, math, history, grammar and more. The primary purpose was always to help students succeed and feel good about learning.

In addition to dozens of domestic clients located mostly in the northeast, Geoff held contracts with USAID, World Bank and Asian Development Bank in nine countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Middle East, including as a civilian contractor in Iraq during the war.

Geoff is a CPA who has served multiple for-profit and not-for-profit companies as CFO. Deb completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from Union Institute & University and Life Coach Training from the Coaches Training Institute. Together, they melded their experience and expertise into one business, L2 Training and Consulting. Geoff manages the business/financial side and Deb manages the business/people side. They both focus on coaching for successful operations and transitions.

In addition to countries Geoff traveled to for work, Deb and Geoff have traveled extensively together to Greece, Austria, Hungary, England, France, St. Maarten, Canada and throughout the US.

Both are sports lovers and athletic; and, as such, Deb became a Certified USA Hockey Referee a few years ago and Geoff is a PSIA Level One Ski Instructor. As former runners, Deb and Geoff completed dozen of road races over the years. Deb has completed several triathlons and Geoff has completed 10 marathons.

“It was always our intention to combine our businesses. Today, as empty-nesters, we are taking this opportunity.”
